Hi everybody,I hope you are fine I would to ask you about Tax ,my husband doesn't have good tax so we need the sponsor ,and now he doesn't have a nationality so we have to wait until he get his nationality but if we don't find sponsor they can cancel our field? and when does the time of looking for sponsor finish? is it 1 year or 1 year for who has a nationality ?and for LPR the time isn't fixed?

Thank you so much and I'm looking forward your response.

Please fill in your timeline so we can help you better, as your post is confusing.

Do you mean your husband hasn't paid his taxes (he must do that), or didn't earn enough?

If you already had your interview and were rejected on financial grounds, you usually get 30 or 90 days to line up a new co-sponsor.

If your husband is still a greencard holder, when did he file for you? There is a 4 year wait for visa interviews for spouses of greencard holders.

the difference is that LPR have years to wait until the priority date is current and then the NVC requests the i864,

for now the wait is more than 3 years until he needs to file the i864, depending on when he filed for you.

since you haven't said when he filed for you, maybe there is time for him to get a good job or at least find a joint sponsor.

but when he becomes a USC, and makes the change at NVC, they will immediatly request the i864 because there is no waiting time for spouses of USC.

but he can start looking for a joint sponsor whenever he wants to,
