I have an approved US visa with an annotation To accompany my wife, but my wife was already in US. I was not be able to go with her due to some corrections on my visa. My wife name was misspelled and I have to return my passport to the Non Immigration Visa Unit for the corrections. My wife already left for US last May 24 at @ 0630 AM and received my corrected visa also on May 24 at @1400. My concern right now is that can I proceed to US with an annotation To accompany my wife in my visa?

So what are your plans, your wife is in the US and you want to travel on a B1/2 visa and return to your country?

And what exactly does the annotation say in your visa

Good luck

The annotation says To accompany my wife. And my wife was already in US and I was left behind due to some corrections on my visa to be done. First I was issued a visa with some typographical error on my wife's name on May 13. So I have to return my passport to the Non Immigrant Visa Unit on May 14 for some corrections. If, there was no error on my visa, then we don't any problem. Because my wife deperture was on May 24.

Why did your wife leave before you receive your visa?, why your visa requires your wife to enter the US with you at the same time?

She has to attend training scheduled on May 24. The purpose of my travel is to have a pleasure trip in US with my wife after her training.

She is using a Red Passport, government employee

There is not complete information what country, I cannot tell just by "Red Passport" what it means.

Did she need a visa or she traveling to US under as diplomat?

Morever it seems if she is already here then you can have copy of her passport with stamp and copy of her ticket and when you enter US you can let CBP officer know your wife had to travel ahead of you and she is already in US while you had to wait to get correction on your passport.

I am sure now you have 2 visa (1 with mistake which is cancelled and 1 new which is corrected)

Showing you are telling truth and you are jut here joining your wife while she is here in US on business.
