Hi all! I am ecstatic to finally be able to post here! We received our NOA2 from Vermont today and although I am so happy that I can barely think straight, the logical part of my brain is trying to focus on the next step. :bonk: So, I know that the petition should now be sent to NVC. Does anyone know how long I should wait before calling them to confirm that our petition was received? 1 week? Does anyone have the phone number? Thank you Visa Journey family!! :thumbs:

Congratulations on moving to NVC!

We were approved by USCIS April 19th, NVC received our case the 26th but it didn't get assigned a case number or show in their system until the 29th..so yeah give them at least a week before requesting an operator...good luck to you

Hi Ally174, Has your case been completed at the NVC? Was just wondering, my was completed 4/5 and I'm still waiting for our interview date.

Hey Wendy! No we are not yet finished with NVC...they haven't decided yet if they have all of our info or not :unsure: sent AOS and IV packaged together on the 13th, it was delivered the 16th but so far they are not showing both in their system...We got an email checklist on the 24th saying they are waiting to receive both and then overnight received a new email checklist saying they have received and reviewed our AOS and are waiting to receive IV app and civil docs...seeing as how both were in the same package, I know they have them..just waiting for it to catch up in the system...I am feeling very confident and reassured though, as I've seen lots of ppl here lately in the same situation and then the very next day they have a SIF or receive notice that their case is complete...I am keeping my fingers crossed for the same and that we will be finished with NVC by the end of next week and maybe just maybe make it for July interviews...I know that's a longshot as there are lots of people ahead of us waiting for Cairo interviews but it can't hurt to hope :blush:...Who knows, maybe you, me and Amber will all have July interviews...Hang in there, I'm sure you will get interview notification very soon :star:

Thank you everyone! Given that Monday is a holiday here, I think I'll call on Wednesday...or Tuesday if I'm over-anxious (which I probably will be :yes:) My understanding is that in regard to K1 visas, the app doesn't stay at NVC for long before being forwarded on to the embassy. Is that right? :luv:
