My fiance got her visa today 09/08/2006, it was faster than I expected. all come together in less than 6 months. Lagos is getting better.

Thanks to everyone for all your supports. I wish the same luck will shine on you all.

If you are in Los Angeles area, I will get you posted for the upcoming wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

07/22/05 K-3 leaves NVC to Lagos

08/08/05 Hubby picks up interview packet from embassy

11/17/05 K-3 interview (denied, C.O refused to take co-sponsor for k-3)

12/16/05 I-130 NOA2

01/03/06 NVC assigns case number

02/15/06 Case complete (thank you James Shortcuts- only 6 weeks!)

04/19/06 tired of waiting, filed k-3 #2 ( petition is still lost in oblivion)

09/11/06 NVC scheduled CR-1 interview/ on to Lagos (thank God after 7 months of waiting!)

10/14/06 Interview date (success!)

10/18/06 Hubby goes to pick up visa- not ready ( ugh what's going on!)

10/19/06 Visa in hand ( thank you God!)

10/29/06 Together at last :)

Whole process 1 year and 4 months

How the interview went

the guy ask my babe ----------

-Has she applied for a visa b/4, and why the refused her

-year we met------------- 2003

-was she aware that i am a married man and still dating her for 3 years, that I just got out of my marriage in 2006, how sure is she that i am not gonna do the same to her, the guy must be a joker.

The guy did not ask for pictures, my girl said the guy had some printed pictures, I guess it must sent from NVC with the package to Lagos.

-He asked for e-mails, phone bills. my girl gave him some western union receipts, the guy rejected it saying they do not take western union.

-He tried to confused my girl with dates of my visits to lagos and London with her, he asked to see copies of my passport and stamps on it, when my girl gave him copies of my passport and stamps on it, he tries to march the stamps on the passport and the date my girl said i was with her in London and Nigeria.

-He asked my date of birth, my job and name and location of my parents.

-He asked if we have done traditional wedding, my girl said yes, per ibo culture.

after that the guy said you met our condition, come on monday for visa.

-he took my tax return for 3 years and latter return it.

Guys------------

-please get your dates together, make sure it marches with the stamps on your passport, they pay more attention to that.

-pictures tell the whole stroy.

K-1/K-2 VISA'S APPROVED IN MONTREAL MAY 2, 2005

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
