This poll is intended for the immigrant spouses, but USC members are welcome to vote on behalf of their spouses :)

Three more questions that I couldn't fit in the poll above (since the limit is only 3 questions).

- What's your highest level of your education?

- Was your first job in your field of education and experience?

- How long did you have your first job for?

I would be curious to know responses of those from non-English speaking countries. A lot of the responses in this work forum seem to be from Canadians/Brits. I wonder how hard it is for someone who speaks English, although it may not be their first language.

Well, I finally can vote in the poll I created almost 3 months ago! :)

I got a full-time job as a Customer Service Representative in a multi-million dollar company. After 5 months of active job search, I got accepted for my current job the same day I was interviewed, and I start in 2 days! :)

1. 5 months.

2. Through an employment agency.

3. Full-time.

4. B.A. in English Literature.

5. The position is not what I am qualified for, but I did the same type of work for a year in Egypt and I enjoyed it.

6. Can't tell yet.

Good luck to everyone else still looking! (F)
