Hey Kat. did u get ur NVC case number yet?

No... :(. They still don't have our receipt number in their system. Weird since TammyandJosh who got their NOA2 a day after us, got their case number already. The earliest NVC can follow up is on Wednesday. *sigh* Our petition is probably still sitting on a desk somewhere at VSC. :(

I believe it's time to shake up this May board a little. Some folks have their visas, some already done got married and all. But hey...some of us still need some positive vibes and smiles now. This ####### is HARD!!!! Geez. Ok...happy things....Niing & Ice have their interview this week. So HAPPY THOUGHTS...good luck to you guys!!! And from what I can tell, all of us original May folk have gotten at least some NOA 2 news. Am I wrong? So...things are happening. And I hope to wake up to my interview date in my inbox. And I'm PRAYING it's in Jan/Feb. Because when I look at this interview schedule http://www.usemb-ankara.org.tr/consular/english/schedule_iv.html it does NOT make me warm and fuzzy. I'm also concerned my father will not be able to come to my wedding if we have to schedule it later than March. :(SO.....hook a sistah UP! I want good vibes and happy holiday type stuff.

CMONNNNNN MAY TEAM!!!! :)

I'm so glad to hear that everyone (we think) has gotten NOA2 now. And I really hope you get your interview date soon. I know it's torture. We waited over a month to know when, and Ice was going insane. I'll tell ya, the month before NOA2 and waiting for the interview were the most emotionally draining times for me. I saw that the other day YJPlove got the NOA2!!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

Ice has his interview on Wednesday the 14, meaning Tuesday night for me. Please pray for a good outcome. He's getting excited now that he can leave that horrible apartment. The flooding is down, but much of the surrounding areas are destroyed. Hopefully he can be on a plane by this next weekend because I am halfway moved out, and its weird not having anything in my room anymore... :)

EDIT: Sabrina, that's nice that they at least put the visa type there on the schedule. ;)

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

Congratulations kat. You are sooo close.. Soo happy for u.

Yay, good luck to all with interviews coming up! I had mine yesterday in London and we sort of got approved. Bit of an issue with the i134 form as Kedron didnt check the right box on question 11. So we have to do another form, send it in with my passport and wait for the visa to be sent back to us! More waiting! Its such a stressful time and seems it will continue for a while until AOS but we're all in the same boat! Stay positive! Don't get stressed if you can see a solution! Keep involved in the forums and use your virtual VJ friends for support! They are the only people who truly understand what each and everyone of us is going through!

We will all get there eventually!

Much love and happiness to all!!!
