Well, I have good news and not so good news. Serena's CRBA is done - no more paperwork until it's time to file AOS. The embassy did not ask for a DNA test. The not-so-good news is that they told Amy that she'll have Serena's US passport in 3 to 4 weeks. My travel agent says that there are no available flights from Manila after December 17 until January. :crying:

Hi Ray! Uhm maybe you can try booking with Asia Travel, I'm sure they have seats available after the 17th of December. It might be a little expensive but of course its also reasonable somehow because of the holidays

Keep the Faith Ray_J, you have done a lot for your Family. I am sorry to hear that they wont be here for the Holidays.I thought for sure they would be there for Christmas. Anyway the Bright side is they will be here to help start the New Year!! I know you wanted them there for Christmas, But they will be there in Janaury!!:thumbs: If you do find seats let us know!!!:thumbs:

Amy's never been outside the Philippines before. I'm worried about her getting lost in an unfamiliar airport and missing her connecting flight. I've been through Seoul (ICN) enough to know where I'm going. I've been preparing her for ICN. As for expenses, I'm now in wedding pay-off mode with a mixture of airfare purchase sprinkled in. ;)

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

The problem with using sites like this is that they often don't give the option to purchase a ticket for an infant. If it were just Amy, I'd probably use an option like this.

quick question guy, what should I do?? I called in NOvember 14th to put for service request and got to talk to ISO person and he told me to call back before 29th if I don't hear anything from USCIS. So on November 22nd, i got an email from USCIS saying, " Your case is currently pending review. Our office processes these cases as our resources and priorities allow", so when he said i will hear from USCIS? he meant by this email? or abotu whether i get approve or not? I just called them earlier and i got to talk to the lady, ISO and she told me I should wait and i asked when i call back? she told me 3 weeks? OMG that is a long time. what should I do? how long is normally i hear from them after the service request??

True but I found a way around that...just look it up through momondo and then go to the particular airline and then you should be able to get the same ticket for same price or a little bit more.

Congrats to all the recent approvals!!!! Yay!!! :) I called NVC yesterday and the nice lady said they don't have our case in the system yet. I'm sure the Thanksgiving holiday slowed things down... I'm feeling impatient (what's new, hehe!) and I want our case to get to the consulate so I know when my interview will be! :)
