I understand your frustration, me&him... I hate having no control over the process and I share your fears of worst-case scenarios. I hate living in limbo. But we will get our approvals, we will. We just have to believe and keep the faith. It will happen for us!

I think you should call back and make sure they actually put in a service request. You will only know that they did once they give u reference number for it. That number is something that will help you in the future if u have to call back on nov 29. Its the only proof that u actually called and was given the information. I also called today and put in service request and was given a reference number and told to call back on nov 29 if I dont get any update. They also asked for my email address. Not sure why. Well so far 2 days passed since service request. I know its not much time but now im getting really mad and frustrated. Cant beleive taking more than 6 months to approve. in my case its just to review the evidence I submitted after Receiving RFE. How hard can this be to look at.evidenve and approve. My patience is really running out now with.people at.USCIS.

Yeah, I understand i'm on the same boat. It is very difficult how we don't know when we are going hear from them and it put us in a spot of not knowing what to do. Just be positive and keep our fingers cross. 12 more days guys....For now, I just hope and pray that we hear from them soon. I was looking at other threads and i saw people who were applied on June and July and got their approvals. so jealous of them =).....

CRBA went well. However, USEM wouldn't accept my notarized copy of my passport. Since I won't be needing it for a while, I'll be sending it via DHL to Amy. She should have it by the end of the week. Due to finances, I may have to wait until New Year's Eve for Amy and Serena to get here. Also, we may have to push the wedding back a month or two.

My fiance got an email last night from USCIS... I guess it's a standard form receipt? What does it mean that our case is "under review"? I really hope our approval won't take another 60 days...he is still going to call 15 days after he submitted the service request, as suggested by the USCIS customer service representative.

It Wont take "60" days Team katman! belive me! Keep calling and keep bugging them. If after time you hear nothing get your Congressional Reps involved! it wont Take "60" days! :thumbs:
