If I understand it correct you are asking if USC overstayed the country they were visiting by few months.

That has no impact on K1, US gov has nothing to do with it, host country's govt would be the one who would have problem.

Right, and i was wondering if they would deny the visa based on this.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

It does not affect anything. The US is not interested in enforcing other country's laws.

The United States could not possibly care less. You are not applying to Albania for a visa, you are applying to the US.

All the above people are right. The US doesn't care if you overstayed anywhere else. As long as the beneficiary never overstayed in the US, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Best of luck on your journey! :thumbs:

January 3rd, 2012 - Received notification that case has been transferred to CSC

January 4th, 2012 - Biometrics

February 11th, 2012 - Employment Authorization Card received

February 25th, 2012 - Social Security Card received

August 24th, 2012 - Green Card Received

August, 2014 - I-751 sent

August 2014 (two weeks later) - NOA1 Received

March 2015 - RFE Received

May 2015 - RFE Packet Sent

July 28th - Letter received for interview

August 13th - Interview (GC Pending)
