How does this affect filing for a k1 visa, if the petitioner overstayed their visa by a few months in the beneficery's country... Wondering if anyone will know...

If I understand it correct you are asking if USC overstayed the country they were visiting by few months.

That has no impact on K1, US gov has nothing to do with it, host country's govt would be the one who would have problem.

Won't affect it at all, the US only cares about overstay in the USA.

It does not affect anything. The US is not interested in enforcing other country's laws.

The United States could not possibly care less. You are not applying to Albania for a visa, you are applying to the US.

All the above people are right. The US doesn't care if you overstayed anywhere else. As long as the beneficiary never overstayed in the US, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Best of luck on your journey!
