My fiance is in glasgow, scotland. We just got our LND number the other day and he's waiting for his police certificated to come in the mail. He needs to book for his medical exam now i assume... What all will he need to bring with him to the medical exam? Also, he went to his general practitioner to get his medical records and they said they didn't know what he was talking about ??? Any thoughts on that?

For the medical you'll need a scan/photocopy of your Police certificate, Passport too.

Go back to the Doctors and ask for your 'Vaccination records'

A simple print-out will do. Mine wasn't on official doctors headed paper, the only extra info it had was my d.o.b. and name.

They don't need 'medical records' they need 'vaccination history'

My doctors gave me a little book like you'd give to a child when they have their pre-school jabs done, this was fine.

But yes, you need the police certificate for the medical, they'll ask if you have it yet when you ring up to book the medical.

Great info about the medical here:

Tells you what jabs you need to have had, etc. and also has the questionnaire that you need to fill out (it's in the PDF on the right)
