That's great congrats! mine for my mom was pretty fast as well, 35 days - I was shocked. So far, as you can see from my timeline everything is going pretty fast. I only had a little hiccup with getting all the paperwork together to send them for my AOS and for my mom to send everything for the IV application. But everything on their USCIS and NVC side has been fairly quick. (Btw, mine was processed through Vermont)

Hello Chenielle,

I'm quite new here, hope you can help me. I'm in the process of sending I-130 for my mom. Does my naturalization certificate suffice as proof of citizenship or am I required to also send my US passport? I just applied for US passport and I heard it will take time to get approved and received it back. Did you send a copy of your US passport with your I-130, aside from your naturalization certificate?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
