Greetings all, just a quick question.

when sending copies of tax returns.

can you just send the first page of each year, with your spouse and your name together on.

or do you have to send all pages.

If you are sending the returns you must send the entire thing with the copy of the W2. If you get your tax transcripts from the IRS this is usually a one or two page document for each year and you can send these instead. But you should have the tax returns available to take to the interview or for your wife to take.

Order tax transcripts from the irs. They are free and much easier than copying a bunch of returns.

Really takes quite the tax expert to interpret tax transcripts, as most of the IO's aren't exactly that, just forces them to look at the top of the page to see if both your names are on it and makes your interview go much smoother. Also saves a little on your application shipping costs.
