Since China provides EP, I will go with that. I know that DS-3032 must be sent from the beneficiaries email account, but must the DS-230 also be sent from the beneficiaries email account?

No. Actually, even a scan of a signed DS3032 can be sent from the petitioner's email account. If not a signed scan, the DS3032 email should come from the beneficiary's account.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

All forms except DS 3032 you need to find out from the Internet (DS 3032 also can be found online).

DS3032 will be emailed to you and at the same time it will be sent to her by regular mail. You and she do not need to wait for DS3032 in mail. She can fill the electronic one, sign it and scan it. Attach it to your OPIN email to NVC saying you want to go with electronic processing. Both your email and her email work in the EP because both email addresses will be listed in the OPIN context. We did EP and sent documents to NVC either my husband's or mine. No any problems.

OPT IN for EPis a bit different.

It should be done from the beneficiary's account.

Silly example using yahoo email -

Petitioner logs in to wife's email account, sets up everything, saves it as a draft.

Wife logs in to her email account, grabs the draft, sends it out.

EP is a different beastie, IP addresses are tracked.

Most say it won't matter, but.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Here is what we did. My husband and I have our own individual email address.

OPT IN email with DS3032 with my signature sent from my husband's email;

D230 with my signature, I-864 with my husband's signature and other required documents sent together from my email;

I agree IP address is tracked. I do not think it has an impact on document submission. But when making online inquiries, definitely it is better to be done by the petitioner because of IP address, tone and efficiency of replies will be different.

What is I use the template and fill it out. I email to her as an attachment, she can forward as attachment from her email?? This should work??

Yes, it will work!!
