I-864 Question...kinda confused

So to recap what I have done.

I (Primay Sponsor) have filled out i-864 with myself and my wife (Principal Immigrant) as my household size...total of 2.

My father (Joint Sponsor) has filled out i-864 with myself, my wife (principal immigrant) my mother and himself as his household size...total of 4.

I'm glad that I am doing this wayyyyyy ahead of time, it can get confusing, more so after you have read the forms a dozen times . I haven't even cleared NOA1 1 month yet... but I am ready for all the steps for NVC now.

Read carefully, interpret literally and answer accurately. When an individual is asked for their income, it is for their own personal income, not the joint income of a couple. When a couple files a joint tax return, the sponsor needs to document their income with a complete tax return copy instead of a transcript, so that it is clear which income from the return, is theirs and theirs alone.

Just need to clear up something here.

I am the one sponsoring for my wife. Primary Sponsor. I do not make enough to be able to sponsor her solo (I am a full time student that is currently unemployed). I will be having a joint sponsor (my father) that I do live with and he does claim me on his taxes as a Dependant.

So, I understand I will have to fill out I-864 Joint Sponsor, with all the W-2, 1040's etc. (The past 3 years 2007-2010, I was working part-time but still did not have to cover the poverty guidelines) but my main question is, since I live at the same residence as my joint sponsor (Dad) will he have to fill out 1-864A or another I-864. We will be living with him as well when she arrives in the US. And is counted into my household count on my I-864?

Hmm, hubby same situation! Will graduate hs in couple weeks. So he will have our mom be our Jointsponsor. But, what are you filing with your I 864?

So I figured I might as well just order the actual tax info from the IRS instead of my copies.

When I go to order my tax returns it gives me two options; Tax return transcripts and tax account transcripts.

Which one do I want to select? I am thinking Tax Return Transcripts as it gives line by line break down.

Also will the Tax Return transcript break down both of my parents tax info since they filed a joint tax return?

Also would I be wanting to include W-2's with this info? Some posts I have read you should and you should not, I am confused on this.

You want tax return transcripts. For parents, you want actual tax return copies with W2 forms so that individual income is clear. Tax return transcripts are fine when the return shows the income of only one person. When it's a joint return, you must document each individual's income.

By "complete tax return", I mean a copy of everything that would have been mailed to the IRS at the time of filing. The 1040 is the primary form, but depending on the circumstances, there could be other schedules, forms, worksheets, W2 and 1099 forms including in a complete return.

Ok, I got ya now. I will check out the folder that we got back from the tax accountant to see exactly what they filed for and what forms were used to file their return.

I will only need 1040's and w-2's.

I believe my parents will need the 1040's, 1099's, w-2's and any other documents they have used to file for their returns.

If I recall the 1099 in an independent business owner form. I won't need that as they have regular jobs and do not have their own business.

I would imagine that since both of them working and filing a joint return, wouldn't just having a 1040 and both of their W2's suffice. That was what I got from reading the actual I-864 form.

The W2's is what breaks down the individual income so thats what I was banking on would be used to separate the income of both parents.

I am just using Dad's income here (since he is the ONLY joint sponsor) as my Mom just recently received a pink slip at work and is out of work.
