Fiance paying for education

Hello All,

So my fiance(Petitioner) has been paying for my tuition since the time we got engaged. Is it alright to show the CO his credit card statements which show that he has payed for my tuition? Will this be looked upon positively or negatively? I am a little worried that it could go either way!! Thanks

Hello! my fiance lives in a poor country. i have been sending/wiring her money since we got engaged to help her out with her needs. When I sent my 129f app, I included all receipts/statements to show ongoing relationships and to shows CO that I would be able to support her when she get in the US. But then again, it's up to you. yup I did the same thing too and sent the evidence for the cr-1. since our rel'n was not that long, I figured it showed evidence of financial help and thus added to our bonafides of our marriage. didnt have any issue w/ it.

It depends somewhat on the country, and of course individual circumstances, but I would show it. Petitioner paying for beneficiary's expenses is ok- the problem arises of the beneficiary pays for the US petitioner, as this can be seen as "paying for the greencard".
