We filed on the 27th April. Got a bunch of emails/texts on 3rd May. Nothing showing on the site yet - from what I've read, though, that's pretty normal. And so the wait begins...... :)

If you sent form G-1145 with the packet then they will notifiy you by text/email when they enter it into the system. If not, then you will have to wait for notice of action in the mail. Then you can check your case on USCIS website.

If it has been more than 30 days and no NOA yet, then you should call USCIS.

  • 3 weeks later...

WOW..... Things seem to be moving pretty quickly.... Went for my biometrics a few weeks back and everything went quiet. Had a touch on 3 of my petitions on 5/20 then nothing. Today, I got a text and email for my I-485. Says they sent me a letter on 6/3 - appointment for 7/8 :D

One strange thing - it said the appointment would be at the NBC. I assume at some point between now and then it will get moved to my local office? Thinking positively for an approval at that appointment, I'll be looking at 71 days from start to finish :wow:
