The date you petition was officially scanned into the USCIS system. It should be printed on your NOA1/I-797C.

Lets hope I can get thru there in 45 days or less. The key part (in my opinion) is to get the file scanend into the system. Depending on how long that can take it you can fly being that you have all your docs and payment ready to go at a momements notice...

I'm an April Filer, too!!! So glad to have others starting the process around the same time. My I-130 for my husband was received on 4/15 and USCIS emailed me today (4/19) to let me know that the petition is headed to the CA service center. Yay!

Good luck everyone and keep us all updated along the way.

Wishing you the best of luck. I recently got married and will be sending out the I-130 this week. My husband lives in Lebanon.

I'm hoping for middle to late October for POE for Kinnari.... I hope it comes true.

I pray that the date for Kinnari to enter the US comes soon. My husband is in Lebanon and it's so hard for the both of us to be so far apart. We talk every day using all different kinds of methods..messenger, texts, phone calls, etc. He has never been to the US, but I have gone to Lebanon 3 times to see him and to Cyprus, where we got married. I'm thinking our journey may take a long time so I'm already planning to go see him in November. I'm filing the I-130 this week. Hope all goes well. I called NVC today to see if I had a case number but nothing yet, I guess I am jumping the gun a little! :whistle: The automated system is easy to use to check on the case number so thats good to know cause I am going to be calling it alot.

Well guys, I don't think I have posted on this topic yet, but I follow it constantly.

34 minutes ago I received a text message that led me find out that my husband and I are moving on to NVC, NOA2 mailed out today ! :dance:

Dave gave me hope last week when his was approved since we were both at CSC with the same priority date. I only started preparing for NVC this past weekend, so much to do.

Anyone know when I can expect to be able to do the next step? I've read the guides (although I need to now have a closer look).. just didn't know if NVC is averaging a certian amount of days to load the cases into the system of if its random.

Its going to happen for everyone soon, I'm sure, make sure you jump up and down like i did. :thumbs:

We JUST got our NOA2 text too - I am so stinking excited!

I think the next part is when we keep phoning to get the NVC Case number. :)

My wife had a hiccup in getting her certified original copies of her birth certificate today. She is going to take care of it and send it out express mail by Wednesday.

I should have it in time to when I need the documents for the IV and AOS packets. Everything is ready to go on my part. Even have the envelopes ready to go.

I called NVC to get familiar with the system... seems pretty straight forward.
