My friend received her I130 Approval notice in 2009, she has not sent her AOS application due to her economic situation, she needs to travel (in the U.S) and she wants to know if she can do it with it or she cannot. She is already married and she only needs to sent her application and moneys to get going with her process. Thank you for your help!

To clarify: With AOS do you mean Affidavit of Support (ie your friends is currently in Mexico), or Adjustment of Status (ie your friend is currently in the USA)?

If the first, an approved I-130 doesn't allow her to travel. If the latter, she can travel within the USA but if she leaves, she won't be able to come back.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
