How will this effect Visa processing?

Why don't they have an expedite service fee?

If I remember correctly, it would most likely delay the process. I think in previous shutdowns that visa processing stopped, but I'm not positive. However, congress is again working on another stopgap bill so it's possible that there won't be a shutdown.

Why not have an expedite service fee? I don't know. Interesting idea.

Visa services outside of USCIS (IE: NVC and Consulates) will be stopped until the inept lawmakers put in a budget.
