Yeah, I've searched the VJ timelines to get an idea, but it hasn't been that helpful for me, and most people that post on the regional forum seem to be K-1 (and I think that process is a little different). I'm also still trying to figure out if my husband is required to get his medical done before they will schedule an interview.

Looking at Geordie's timeline, things are looking good for a late May interview for us as well, if our case follows the same schedule just a couple of weeks later.

P.S. A message for Geordie from my husband: "Howay the lads!"

Yeah, I remember seeing something about the medicals done before an interview date is scheduled. Perhaps asking an operator for clarification would be beneficial. And call a few times and ask the same question. I've got a feeling you might get different answers for your question as not all operators know how certain processes go.

Good luck nonetheless!

Filed: Country: Indonesia
Timeline

I called the NVC today at about 4pm and learned that we have an interview date for May 4 (Wednesday) at 8am. If Lanny's Visa is approved, how long before she has the visa in hand? (maybe 2 days on Friday?) I plan to fly to Jakarta on about April 30th but it will be hard to schedule a plane ticket for her to fly back with me on the same flight. Sure seems like a long time -- 9-1/2 months since we have seen each other. I hope that all of your interviews go well!! Praise the Lord, the wait is almost over!

Personal Info:

flew to Indonesia in Feb. 2010 for 2 weeks

back to Jakarta on June 15 to prepare for:

Haha! I should know by now that you are the queen of these pages!! ;)

Tried tracking with yesterday's date, but didn't find anything that went to New Delhi. But I found one package that went out today. So, I am guessing that is ours. I will track that one.

That's probably yours. Have fun tracking! ;) Once it arrives in New Delhi, the next day I'd suggest to call up DOS to see if your case has arrived at the embassy/consulate. They'll confirm if it has or not.
