This is what I'm really confused with.My receipt number starts with MSC which stands for Missouri Service Center. But the lady from USCIS I've talked with told me that my office still working on August 16,2014 files. I've checked the processing times for NBC(MSC) and can't see any I-485 on the list. I mean there is no I-485 on time frame chart. But when I check New York City field office , time frame shows last I-485 processed is filed in August 16,2014.

That's why think my office is New York City Field Office. I'm still not sure though. Do they notify people when they transfer files from NBC to the local offices?

Just wait ;)

Someone in the NYC office got his itw date on May 21st and it was scheduled on June 22nd. he was ready to be scheduled for interview as of January 13th. This means they are working on cases arrived way later than August 2014.

On the other hand, I am ready to be scheduled for interview as of February 4th, 3 weeks later than that guy, I "should" have got my itw date around mid may and the interview around mid june and still no news (which works our perfectly for me since i hot tired of waiting and went back to France on May 1st until July 7th ^^)

This process is a mystery, trying to figure out dates and stuff won't get yiu anywhere, just wait, it'll work out eventually, and keep in mind that some people not married to US citizen wait years, even decades!

update!

I got my interview date!

Weird thing though: I haven't received any mail or text yet and my case hasn't been updated online either. But my wife got the official letter in the mail today:

February 4th 2015 : case ready to be scheduled for an interview.

June 16th 2015: letter received (it says notice date June 10th on it)

July 16th 2015: interview at federal plaza (NYC office)

finally :)

Hi,

my wife and I had our interview this morning.

we arrived an hour early and it started 30 minutes late.

The agent was very nice. He swore us in before we sat.

he asked us if we had more things to add to the file: we gave pictures, travel itineries, hotel bills, joint lease, last rent payment, gym membership...

he asked us a few questions to my wife about me, my parents, my job, nothing crazy. how we met too.

then he asked me the Yes/No questions that are at the end of the I-485 file.

He also made me check the info on the file (if my name

was spelled correctly, if my ssn was right, etc...)

he gave us a letter with 4

possible outcomes on it which were basically:

1) need asditional documentation

2) case held due to background checks

3) case held for file review in order to prepare for a decision. no need to do anything, wait for decision or rfe in the mail.

4) case rescheduled for another interview

only the outcome 3 was checked.

He made a copy of my passport and my wife's ID, gave it back to us and that was it. no stamps, nothing, and je didnt ask for my EAD or I-94 either.

I wonder if that means that I can kiss the same day approval goodbye...

waiting for decision...

Our Resident Alien Card has not come yet either. We have a Waiver of Interview 6 months ago. The application of AOS is over 9 months ago. From what I see on here, approval is taking 1.5 years?
