No you can go home for a visit to your country you have GC and that allows you to come and go freely. Unless you are having problems with your wife and unsure of leaving for a little while? She can't prevent you from coming back to USA you have GC

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

She can't cancel your GC or prevent you from returning to the US.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Like I mentioned earlier on your profile, she can't prevent you from coming back at all. BUT if you have a conditional green card and will be removing conditions soon, and you and your wife are not on good terms, that may be an issue as you need to file together, proving you have a solid, ongoing relationship.

Hope that helps.
