After sending the NVC the checklist they required a month and a half ago I spoke to the operator and she said they are missing a few documents (which were already sent!!)

our attorney called them and the operator said she will ask her supervisor maybe they will find them

should we send them again? should I ask to speak directly with the supervisor?

If anyone had experience with this I will be thankfull to know how to resolve this mess with out any more unnecessary delays

Thanks

send it again. speaking to supervisor will not help... they cant find it and perhaps have no evidence of being received.

Thank you

I thought I would ask the supervisor to send it to the embassy as is and we will bring everything again to the interview

It is a copy of a statement they already have in another file ( we have 3 deriviates, and all the supporting docs are the same!!!)

would it do any harm to speak with him and ask?

sorry for all the desperate sounding questions...we had too many delays

It would help to know what's missing.

I am in the same situation.. I was sent a RFE on my I-864 which I sent in and was received by the NVC Jan.24th 2011, and then a confirmation e-mail from the NVC that they received the I-864 checklist FEB 10th, 2011. Then on March 3rd, I received another checklist for the same I 864 I had already sent in and they said they have on file. I called the NVC and the operator said that it was still missing, and that I should send the I-864 again. So I did and it was received March 7th 2011. I called again the next day and another operator told me it might have been misplaced. I was so mad, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they just said they would let a supervisor look at my case and it would take ten days. After ten days I called and the operator told me that no one has looked at my file, I asked if the other I-864 I sent was received and she said No nothing has been received, and that she was going to pull my file and let a supervisor look at it and it would take another ten business days. I also asked if I could just send the missing document to my husband and he take it to the interview and they said no the NVC requires the file to be complete before sending it to the embassy, which I know is not true because I have heard of cases where the missing documents were taken to the embassy. I just dont understand, it gets so overwhelming when your waiting and waiting and the waiting process keeps renewing. But to save time I would just send in the paper again, just in case you wait for the supervisor to look at the file and then say oh you need to send in the papers since they are missing. Good luck to you!!
