I agree ! Californians shouldn't have to put up with this. In fact I believe California would be better off if it succeeded from the rest of the United States...and made visa restrictions between Americans and Californians...and even build a giant wall around California thus keeping out all the "meanies" who wish to do California harm.

Not to mention...the giant wall also would keep the Californians in California...along with their notions. ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

You have something against the British as well as Californians? You sure think big with your grudges.

No its just mostly the attitude of British members here at VJ that get to me. I've always looked at England as one of the few countries that understands the United States way of going about things.

I don't understand people who hate their own country but pretend as though they dont

Its something I struggle with on a daily basis considering all the wrong we have done in the world.

No, the British understand the British way of doing things--other than US, only Canada (due to cultural similarity which many of those born there--especially those born in Ontario--deny) understands US way.

I dont know a lot of Canadians but the few I do know seem to have a "we are better than you attitude". It seems many see themselves as a peaceful country(easy to do considering they have the US military to back them up) and see us as war mongers. I'm not claiming that all Canadians think this way but this has been the attitude of the ones I have dealt with.

I have come to believe that most Canadians want to separate themselves as far as possible from the United States.
