I have a question ....

I see a lot of people here who have filed in CSC in jan/feb and already got their NOA 2, does that mean that this service center is already working on filers from that period? And if so ... why the Vermont Service Center is so slow?

And does anyone know how far they might be?

understood they approved cases are those that were pulled for training. The VCS over the years been quicker adjudicating the cases than CSC.

Current cut off date F2A - Current

Dec 30 2010 - Notice of Action 1 (NOA1)
May 12 2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)
May 23 2011 - NVC case # Assigned
Nov 17 2011 - COA / I-864 received
Nov 18 2011 - Sent COA
Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee
Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA

There's a lot of oct and nov filer still waiting on approval..I filed in november and at least i know for sure we are in the system by talking to a rep on the phone at uscis but i still dont see it online nor is it approved yet...

no rhyme or reason to how they approve or work the files... ;(

EMBASSY JOURNEY
05/20/2011 Medical Appt/passed
06/15/2011 Interview result AP
06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

It's a ####### shoot but I think Vegas gives better odds.

Lol, yeah you are right ... Vegas gives better odds then this. I have nothing against all this but its not fair toward people who have been waiting in line for their case. I thought that they take the cases as they have been filed, according to months, but i see that i might have been wrong :)
