Thanks, Saylin. I just called NVC and spoke to a really nice, friendly lady. She said that they have reviewed our case today, and it doesn't look like anything is missing, and that it will be sent for a final review before the case is closed. I asked her how long that final review will take, she said give it a week. She also mentioned that they only schedule interviews during the 2nd week of the month, so as long as the final review gets completed by the 2nd week of April, we should be good. What a relief!! I will check back tomorrow to see if the case is complete (going by your advice, Saylin!)

Yeah, the day I called when I got SIF, the operator said my case was complete, but it was only officially complete (according to the CC email and AVR) the day after. So, you could potentially have a CC by tomorrow. If not, next week for sure.

And the bit about interviews only being scheduled during the second week is a complete LIE. If you want proof, check my signature out. You'll notice that I got my interview date in the FOURTH week. So once you get a CC, just keep calling back each day to see if you have an interview date.

SIF!!!!! Whoohoooo!!!! :wow: Finally!:dance::dance: I just couldn't believe it. I thought I mistyped the numbers, so I tried 3 times already, and still getting the same SIF. This is great! I called NVC, and the AVR still says they are reviewing our DS-230 package. Maybe I should wait a little longer to talk to a operator!

Congrats

 Completely agree ! Most of the operators are trained (brain washed) to say the same thing, it's just a way of "buying time".

Exactly. You can tell they're reading from a script cause by the end, I was able to say exactly what they were saying. I believe it's just some tactic so people stop calling. But I knew it was a lie and their tactic wasn't working on me. I knew I was going to call everyday until I got my interview date, no matter what operators told me. Glad I didn't listen. no0pb.gif

Yes, once your interview date is assigned, NVC will send you an email with a PDF attached telling you what you need to bring to the interview.

Grats on finally getting your case number! kicking.gif

Unfortunately, I can't really help you about your case as I don't know how that would work. It seems like you're going to have to just wait 10-15 days like the operator said so they can merge the two cases together. Make sure you've got both packages all ready to go once you can finally pay the bills.

Yay! Grats! kicking.gif You got everything you needed! If you're planning on doing EP, then you can shoot off the optin email now. Try logging onto the payment portal. If a bill is available, then pay it. And if you can sign onto the other area successfully, then fill out the DS-261!
