Evidences for I-751.

Hi All VJers . We wd be applying in April. My GC expiery date is July 7th. I have the following evidences.

Any idea what else can we add ?

1)Joint Bank accounts, I am the 1st a/c holder and her ( USC) retirement money coming into the account.

2) Joint Tax Returns(3 yrs)

3) Company online salary account profile showing us husband and wife

4) My drivers permit and her drivers license showing same address.

5) Common address in photo ids

6) Joint Electricity bill

7)Joint water bill

8)Joint Trash bill

8A)Joint loan for buying a washer.

9) Joint AAA membership

10) Joint stock holding

11) Common Verizon bills

12) Joint Timewarner bill

13) We have a small business together

14) Joint membership in cultural organisation

15) Joint Dog registration

16) LOts of pics

17) Letters from friends and her daughter.

18) My online credit statement showing different gifts bought online and valentines day restaurant bill.

19) Copy of GC

20) Two passport size pics

We do not have :

a)Joint house lease. The house is in her name but as she is back on house payments and about to file bankruptcy , she doesnt want to hurt my credit.

b)No Joint Credit Card because of the same reason

c)No car registration due to the same reason

We wd have a explanation sheet about general information about us and why the above are not co-mingled. Hope that will help.

How does the evidences list look .... what else can we add...any advice wd be highly appreciated. I am a bit tensed with this list.

I think what you have looks fine. We had some similar stuff, and also do not have joint credit cards because I am in a debt management program and I cannot have any credit cards in my name. I also included a bit about us living with my mom so we did not have any joint utilities.

Only thing I see that I don't think you need is the passport size photos. According to instructions, you only need those if you "reside overseas persuant to military or Government orders, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas and listed under Part 5 of the form". With that you'd also need fingerprint cards.

They will take new photos of you & get fingerprints at the biometrics appointment.

I think the best thing to have is your taxes Married Filing Jointly and you have that for 3 years. You have joint bank accounts which show you are joining your finances together. You have joint utilities. You have a business together. Most of your evidence is good strong evidence.

Do you have health insurance? If so, you can make a copy of your cards showing the same account number

I had the same worry that I did not have enough evidence, but according to others I did. I think they much prefer you to have fewer things that are strong evidence than a lot of evidence that doesn't really prove anything, you know what I mean??

But as my wife is appyling for Bankruptcy most probably we have to split the accounts as showing comingled finances may hurt. What we can do though is put my salary account on my own name. Then open a new joint account, put her retirement money in that. We can show both the accounts to USCIS . We can also show the bankruptcy paper.

Wd that be ok ? Any advices and imputs wd be highly appreciated. Thanks

Ok we decided we would keep the joint account for ROC factors. I am still confused when i am sending bills that are in both name , how many months of bills needs to be sent .... i was thinking most recent one would do. Any imputs. Thanks.

Looks good. Our's is still pending, but we do not have joint credit cards either. No big deal.

You say you have a joint business. What have you attached concerning that? That would be good evidence, so include what you have.

We have some fair receipts and ads regarding that. Plus we have some publications together. Thanks so much for the prompt reply . I really appreciate it. Any idea how many months bills to be sent ? what did you do ? Thanks again
