We were approved today for the AOS! Finally

Question we got two updates tonight. First one was this:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On February 22, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Then few hours later we got this:

On February 22, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Question is we want to book our flight to Poland for May 10th because we found a great deal last night do you think we will have any issues with getting the GC by then?

That's good news because we booked that cheap flight to the UK were my parents and brother lives for May 11th so that's even more then 60 days away from the ADIT process that they say.

Did you receive your AP before this? You can travel internationally and return safely with the AP.

This is incorrect. Once you are approved for a GC, you cannot travel on AP anymore, because it is rendered invalid upon approval of GC (the reason, to see out the results of your AOS, no longer exists).

OP - you should get the card in 10 business days (2 weeks). Good luck.

Thanks for the answers guys. We booked our trip to the UK to see my parents and brother in England then off to Poland.
