Hey,

I am a november filer, and i just checked my online status for my I-485 application and we will have our interview on the 29 of march. We filed on nov.8th. I can not believe it's taking 4 months and a half to get the interview appointment...that is so quick!!

I really hope and pray that we will get a nice IO that will not give us the "i'll have to review your case one more time, and you will be notified..."kind of thing. To be honest i am scared because i am not stressed out at all. Thing is I know my story is real, and i have nothing to hide, so i would like to think of this more like a formality than anything else; i hope i will be as brave as i am now on the day of the interview

Good luck to all of you doing this right now.

There isn't an office in Hanover Co., but I suspect you are going to Va Beach. When we had our interview in Va Beach we were told the whole.. you'll find out your decision in 2 weeks, blah blah blah.. I was soo wanting to hear that my husband was approved. We found out later that evening (5-5:30) we were approved. If you are interviewing in Va Beach i'd suggest checking out my review of the interview.

Good luck!

Bring those offers that you placed on the houses that you were interested in plus any agreements that you guys signed with the realtors. They are great pieces of evidence of bona-fide relationship. :star:

Other than that - do not worry, just be yourself at the interview. Good luck!!!

Tx guys,

Yes, the interview will be in norfolk, va. I was also thinking to bring in the offers we put on a house...that should help as well.

I have to say not in a million years I ever imagined i can do all that crazy paperwork alone(without a lawyer), but thanks to you guys i was able to do it alone, and save a lot of money. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I owe you big time!
