When my fiancee has her K-1 visa I want to go there and get her because it would be really hard for her to come here on her own. Whats the best way to do this? Would it make since to just purchase two round trip tickets online even though she would not be using the seat going to the Philippines but only using the ticket for the trip back to the US. Do airlines allow this? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated...

in addition to what Mai and Meg said, watch out if you decide to get a roundtrip for her the other way round (i.e. Philippines - US - Philippines): you gotta make sure that you cancel the return flight, because some people had problems due to the airline mistakenly communicating to the DHS the passengers' list including their name.

although they were still in the US they resulted as having left (which is considered an abandonment of the AOS process, if it occurs before getting the green card or at least AP).

I will be doing the same for Jessa. Pricing the tickets on Delta it is less expensive to actually purchase a one way for her from the Phils to Boston than to purchase a round trip. If you are flying into some of the west coast cities and can fly Philippine Airlines, they give a discount to immigrants on their flight so that is something to research.

Best of luck!

Generally a return ticket is cheaper in my experience. However as newlyweds2010 stated, make sure you cancel the ticket!
