How long is too long for NOA-1?

hello all,

I dont want to start freaking out yet, but how long is the average NOA-1? We sent our package on the 3rd and it arrived at the TX lockbox on the 6th, so it's been 5 business days.

When should I start worrying?

Also, is there a number I can call to check on it?

They will ask you for the petition number which is printed on the NOA-1 letter.

Did you use a personal check? was it cashed?

Did you attach the G-1145 sheet so you will get an electronic acceptance notification?

If so, you should get something within a week of it arriving at the dropbox.

The e-mails tend to come at strange times (including weekends), which leads me to believe it's an automated process that sends them out. So you may just be waiting on the next batch of e-mails to get triggered by a computer.

Yes, I have attached the G-1145 and I have also sent a personal check along with the package, but neither of them have given me any sign yet.
