Hi I am trying to file I-130 & I-485 for my mom, but i am not working for the last 2 years and I did not file my tax return.

can I use an outside sponsor?

& what i am going to do if they asked about my tax of 2009 & 2008?

Please help

Are you a USC ? The are less apt to accept joint sponsors for parents. You will also have to show that you can provide medical coverage as she won't be able to collect public benefits for that either.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

you will need to explain why you were not required to file a tax return such as your income did not meet the filing requirements. You will need a joint sponsor who's income meets the requirements for a household size of theirs plus your mother. As mentioned previously you may be required to provide proof of health insurance for the mother prior to the visa being issued.
