Hello All! I believe I am in big trouble with my upcoming interiew with my husband for his green card. I never applied for the EAD document. We were able to use his I-94 document to get Salah a social security card. I dont know how I missed this important step but I did. What should we do now?

It's fine. EAD is optional, and intended as a temporary measure anyway. As long as he didn't work illegally, don't worry. The GC will give him permission to work, and renders the EAD obsolete.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

...what more can I say :) but put you even more at ease - like it was mentioned before, the EAD is optional, it gives the beneficiary the opportunity to work during the AOS process - as long as he really got the SSN fair and square at the social security office, didn't use someone else's identity in order to work it's all good. Even if he did work without the EAD he will get it forgiven as he married you, a USC.

Good luck with the interview!!! Keep us posted :)
