My husband is hoping that they'll let me do it on the spot, but I don't think OK-city does same day Oaths at all. Also I highly doubt I'll get to take it this Wednesday... September 14 would be cool too, since my MIL will be in town.

My interview is tomorrow at 12.15 pm. Got ten pounds of paperwork ready I will be leaving about 6 am, wanna get an early start, with all the grass fires along the way...

I'm not worried about the interview itself, really, more about the trip and the possible long wait. And that they have lost my file

When I went there was only one other person it was like a morgue, it was way more relaxed than I had imagined and NO paperwork was required, he only looked at my GC and nothing else.

I filed the 5 year route, so not sure if that helped.

I'm bringing a lot of proof of marital union again. We've been married for almost 7 years with three children and sent the same paperwork in at least 4 or 5 times

Oh well.

When my kids were interviewed for AOS last year, there was just one other person there too. That person and her spouse were the reason why we had to wait for 2 hours past our time. Mark suspected fraud on their part, and interviewed them separately, then had to bring a supervisor in.

Good luck - you'll be fine , they probably ask for very little. I was all hyped up and ready for them and all they asked for was a litle bit of evidence

Well, I passed

Messed up on the question about the number of senators - I was thinking "two for every state" and said "Fifty". The IO looked at me funny, so I quickly corrected myself. She said I was the first person to have ever answered this question wrong

I got there at about 11:30, went through security at 11:40, was called in the interview room about 11:50 and was out of there ten minutesbefore the actual appointment time, which was 12:15.

Anyway, she (her name's Brenda, I didn't catch the last name) was very nice, chatted about weather and her two sons. Saw my husband and three kids in the waiting room and said, "I see you have a good marriage". Asked for my DL, GC and passports. Went over the application questions and Oath lines. Had me read "What state has the most people" and write "California has the most people". I signed two forms, and she told me they will put me on the list for the next available Oath, which happens to be September 14.

That's pretty much it.

I hardly slept last night, got up at 5 am, so I couldn't think very straight. I guess I did well after all, considering
