Yep, we are still at nvc. Having to send in the additional photos set us back a couple weeks :( But the good news is that they did confirm receiving the photos! So...hopefully only a few more days :)

Hope that weather clears up for the midwest folks! Aztec and Taino, I hope your sweetie doesn't freeze when he comes here!!! My husband said it was cold in the DR the other night...it was 65 degrees

I tell him all the time that he does not know what feeling cold really is and he says, "pero alla venden unos abrigos goldotes para el frio, que tu piensas?" At least he will probably make it here at the beginning of summer so he will not get here in the midst of winter...

Wow, that's so funny! I'm picturing him saying that the way dominicans talk and can't stop laughing, lol

My husband asked me for a hoodie because it was supposedly cold in November and when I went the coldest temperature was probably around 65-70 degrees. I told him yesterday that he is lucky he isn't here for this winter because we are getting hit with snow every week, and probably 35 degrees max. That is not the best welcome to this country.

My husband was wearing a jacket when it was 65 one evening when we were at the beach! Kind of cute...those island guys and their concept of "cold". Thankfully where I am in California it doesn't get too awful during the winter...but it's still not tropical!!

I called the NVC last night and got the message they were closed...we have been antsy as to whether or not they received our choice of agent form since the beginning of the week...and no response. So, after the call yesterday, things made a lot more sense.

Being in Miami, my hubby shouldn't have too much of a problem as the weather is pretty much the same here as it is there...however, sometimes it gets down in the 30s...which is REALLY cold for here. Last winter, the iguanas froze and died...

Whoa. I don't even know how to respond to that!! Let's hope no more frozen animal life comes to Miami :) Good luck with your NVC process! I sent our choice of agent by email and by postal mail. They only acknowledged the postal mail copy...in less than one day!
