I had a similar issue when doing my medical exam. I got my family back in Sweden to send me a picture of the vaccinations I received as a kid. They where shitty pics and all in Swedish, but that actually worked fine, even though it only said my name on them and the years they were taken, not months or looking anywhere close to an official document. However, I seems many of those vaccinations are given to you when a child, (at least in Sweden) if not given them then, you don't necessarily need to get them at all as a grown up. I would talk to the doctor and see what they say, if you're going to get a medical exam in the Philippines they probably know which one's you've gotten even if not being able to prove so. And worst case scenario, you need to get some of them again, (which doesn't seem to have harmed anyone what I could find out online.) I needed to make a refill anyhow of my Tetanus shot and while getting my exam I got it done. Don't worry, talk to the doctor, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Thank you for the replies. It would seem safe to apply with No Records then. However, The first reply suggested seeing a local Doctor to be prepared for what is needed before a 4 hour Journey to St. Lukes. To be safe, that seems logical and get something in writing if posible from them. I'm really confused about this process. Thats why were here. Thank you. Tim and Mav....

You don't need any prior records, Heck some people in PI never go to the doctor. Plus they would think any previous medical records are fake or incorrect. SLMEC will take care of all your medical stuff, that's why the petitioner gets ripped off and has to pay like $200 plus for Medical Interview

I wouldn't worry about it. I had the same concerns, but my fiancée just had her medical exam yesterday, and she also lost her vaccination records from her childhood. They asked her if she wanted to have the shots at St. Luke's or in the U.S. and she told them at St. Luke's (you might as well since it's included in the price). They just gave her 2 shots (MMR and Tdap), and she'll get the rest in the U.S.

Well, I will share the recent medical experience of my parents. It was done on Jan 18-19. My father got a tetanus shot almost 3 months ago, it needs 2 weeks and a few days to be 3 months. Anyway, he declared that when he went and have his medical. Since it was done recently St Lukes wants the certificate. There's even a problem bec the doctor who administered the shot transfered to a different hospital just recently too, just the weekend before their medical. And they couldn't find his records. My sister (who is an RN) went to the hospital to help, on looking for that records. They found it but since the one who will make the certificate is not there anymore, they have to wait another day. It's a BIG hassle.

So anyway, what I'm saying is this. If she has a vaccination recently and it's not over 3 months yet. St Lukes will asked for the certification for that. But if it is over 3 months no worries, you're okay.
