My foreign fiance does not have his vaccination records. I think he has gotten most of the vaccinations needed, but he got them when he was a baby. Does he have to wait for his medical exam to find out what vaccinations he needs, or can he go to a dr. before and get tested for all the vaccinations so he doesn't have to get vaccinated twice? If both work, which is the better option? Will the doctor for the medical exam just give him all the vaccines again since I would think it takes time to do a lab test to find out which he already has? If he goes to a doctor beforehand to find out what he has had, does the doctor need to sign some official form or does it have to be a specific doctor?

Just trying to get everything ready in expectation of a (hopefully) soon NOA2.

Thanks.

Can be proactive and get the required vaccinations handled now. Then will bring this record to medical for visa and they should transfer this to a DS-3025, or later in the states have this record transferred to an I-693

Age 18 - 64 are required to have:

  • MMR
  • Td

The regular doctor should be able to do a titre test for the listed vaccinations that are required. Any that do not show the proper levels will have to be given again.
