Hi, CONGRATS!

K1 filers do not have an Immigrant Data Summary because our visa is considered non-immigrant. :) Don't worry about that.

For CFO, you will need just your passport, photocopies of visa and bio page, and payment of the fees. Bring extra money because they will charge you for some hand-outs as well (about Php150 which is not in the website) BUT, they may ask you to submit documents such as annulment or divorce certificate/death certificate (if previously married or widowed) and maybe even some pictures. It's really up to them, so to be safe just bring the same items you brought to your interview.

Do you plan to go St. Marys or PRISM?

If you go PRISM, please do not let them trick you into opening a BDO bank account, and do not be intimidated by them, you will be fine :)

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Oh and expect your visa in about 7-10 working days. I got mine after 9 working days.

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

I went to Good Sheperd Convent located at Katipunan Ave,. in front of PSBA :) they'll ask you for 3 copies of your visa,3 copies of passport bio page and the fees amounting to 650.00 no additional charge that's all you have to pay :) oh and don't forget to download the CFO forms before you go there, answer it cause you also need to fill out another form somewhat similar to that when you get there:)it's going to be two forms that you will be submitting one for the seminar and the second one is to get your certificate and sticker which will be both place on your passport ;) . I went there at 1:30 pm and got done before 4pm. So that's really nice :D Best of luck and Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best to go to St. Mary's (SMEF-COW) near the Good Shepherd's Convent in Katipunan, QC (can't miss it the Katipunan LRT station is right next to it). Very friend;y people and they have a CFO satellite office at the back. One-stop shop.

Congratulations :) better start packing!

thanl you all for the responses! i appreciate it. best of luck to us all! :)
