So, our interview is coming really soon (this Wednesday at 8.30 AM in Atlanta. GA). We'll be leaving tomorrow to go there and stay over night, go to the interview then come home. I'm running some last minutes re-checking of all the documents we need. Do I miss anything? :blink:

Here's what I've compiled:

1. Vaccination Record

2. Affidavit of Support (Form I-864EZ) with:

● Tax Returns & W2s

● Letter from my husband's employer & Pay stubs

● My husband's birth certificate & US Passport

3. Documents Establishing Eligibility for LPR:

● I-797, Approval Notice of Petition for Fiancé (K1 Visa)

● Letter from NVC

● I-797C, Receipt Notice of Petition for K1 Visa

4. Immigration-related Documents Ever Issued:

● I-797C, Receipt Notice for I-485 AOS Application

● I-797C, Biometric Appointment Notice

● I-797C, Receipt Notice of I-865 Sponsor Change of Address

● Copy of AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address

5. Travel Documents Used to Enter USA:

● Passport, I-94, travel itinerary, boarding passes

6. Our Birth Certificates (plus translation for mine)

7. Eligibility Based on Marriage:

● Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate

● My husband's Birth Certificate

● My husband's Divorce Decree

8. Supporting Evidence:

● Tax Returns

● Bank Statements (with both our names in it)

● Health Insurance

● Apartment Lease Agreement

● Utilities Bills (some have both our names some just his name)

● Correspondences

● Letter from my OB/GYN stating my pregnancy due date & ultrasound pictures

● Photos

● Copy Files of K-1 Visa Applications

April 4, 2007: Infopass & it doesn't help at all!!!
April 18, 2007 :Contacting our Congressman.
May 18, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, Welcome Notice Sent! Finally!!!
April 22, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, GC has been ordered
April 24, 2007 : Welcome Notice Rvcd. Yeeehaaa!!!!
June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

Only thing I can see missing (and you probably have it) are copies of all the documents you filed with USCIS for AOS (e.g. I-485 etc). Other than that you look well prepared!

Yes, I make sure I copied everything and bring all the NOAs even from the change of address. Thank you. :yes:

Your list is very well prepared. Be sure to put things in order where you can find them quickly. You will be pretty nervous and they will not ask for things in any particular order.

I think you will be pleasently surprised. Our interview was fairly easy. They really didn't want very much and had just a few questions. It was much different than the consulate.

Keep an eye on this storm. Right now it looks like you will be fine but if it shifts course you may find yourself driving in bad weather.

13 July Interview successful approved

20 July Received green card

30 June 08 Sent I751 to remove conditions

25 July 08 Application returned erroneously incorrect fee

27 July mailed new application with separate checks

15 Sept 08 Application returned erroneously K2 not within 90 day timeframe

17 Sept Mailed 3rd application with mountains of proof of error copied Senator Mel Martinez

09 October 4th application package sent. This time they said the app signature page was a copy

10 Oct Sent package again 4th time.

25 Oct Received another NOA for Wife with $625 for the amount with one year extension

30 Oct 2008 Still nothing for step daughter. Checks still haven't cleared the bank

24 November Checks finally cleared the bank

February biometrics for wife Nothing for daughter.

your ID and his...like driver's license.

documents if you've applied for EAD or Advance parole

Also, if you want to work right away or apply for a job after the interview dont forget to ask the officer if he/she could stamp your passort for the authorization because sometimes the GC arrives more than a month.
