I have been in a 3 year online relationship with a 22 Year old Egyptian man. I am a 38 year old woman from the US. We plan to marry in July there in Egypt and start the embassy process. My question is what if he gets approval before he finishes his college in 2 years? How long will he have before he has to leave there once approved?

The visa is typically good for 6 months after issuance. Meaning he has 6 months to travel to the US after the visa has been issued

Once he gets approved and has his stamped passport, he has 6 months to leave, if he doesn't, the visa expires and you'd need to start over.

Very important question...did he receive an exemption from having to serve in the military? If not, he will have to take care of this before he can even think about getting a visa. If he does not have an exemption then he will have to present himself for service, if they take him then he would have to serve 1 year if he is a college grad and 2 if he has not finished school. He can't get a visa without either the certificate of completed service or an exemption letter from the military. I know what I am talking about as we have been through this.
