Timeline

We had our interview at the Lagos consulate today.The interview was a breeze,the consulate officer was nice and courteous.

CO...Who is petitioning for you

Me...My husband

CO...When did he first travel to the us

Me..2001

CO..When did he become a us citizen

Me..2007

CO..When did you get married?

Me..2008

CO..Where does your husband stay?

Me..Tulsa

CO..Do you know that your daughter is qualified for american citizenship?

Me..We came here when she was born and we were informed that she isn't because hubby has not spent up to five years in the us at the time of her birth

CO..Do you have copies of all the pages of his international passport?

Me..No

CO..Then am gona request that you reschedule and come back with it.

Me..Thank you

We were given a form requesting for the pages of his international passport so they could count it at the embassy.

I felt bad cos it means more days apart for us but at the same time i believe God knows best.My hubby just scanned the document to me and i have requested for a date next week for our next interview...i wish :bonk:

Mar 3, 2011 received hard copy of AOS transfer to csc

Mar 4, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 28, 2011 Received txt/email saying card production has been ordered. (1month 3eeks 3days)

Mar 28, 2011 Received 2nd txt/email saying we have registered this customer permanent residence status

Mar 29, 2011 Received 3rd txt/email says card production has been ordered.

April 1, 2011 greencard and welcome letter in hand!!

April 5, 2011 received txt/email EAD card production ordered

Will Start Removing Conditions Dec 2012!!!!

Dec. 26, 2012 mailed ROC paperwork

Dec. 28, 2012 NOA for ROC paperwork

Jan. 7, 2013 received bio appt letter

Jan. 24, 2013 bio appt.

June 22, 2013 10yr green card received

Congratulations.Being a Nigerian as well as an American, I am glad to hear that the CO at the American Embassy in Lagos was nice and courteous. That is what we expect from the CO. You are on your way to the US.
