My wife has not received her citizenship yet, but I hope she would be able to compete the process in 6-8 months time.

Question is if my mother in law over stays her B2 visa, can she be processed for I-130 in few months time? Could the INS deny her I-130 paper work if she over stay her visa.

If anyone has any experience on this issue please let me know? Thanks

From what I understand, you do NOT want her overstating.

I believe she can incur a 10 year ban for overstaying a visa. It is a ground for denial as well.

your changes are slim if you are seeking to get information to commit visa fraud or to use the non immigrant visa for it's intended use. your mother was advised that this was her last entry and she decided along with the US citizen(to be) to walk around the immigration process

First, it hasn't been INS in MANY years - it is USCIS

DO NOT Overstay a visa, it can cause you HUGE issues in the end. Your M-i-l should go home when she is supposed to leave as terms of her entrance into the US
