oh here we go again with the apologist viewpoint.

Not an apologist, but I think military is a legitimate target in a time of war.

yeah sure, keep advocating the killing of our troops.

This isn't advocating killing. I have family in the military Charles, including a member who served during this war. He would tell you military is a legitimate target. Are you saying this is not the case? Military is not a target during war?

you just remember that if something happens to him then ;)

Something did happen to him Charles.

Charles,

Bosco is being legalistic in her argument that during war, military targets are legitimate. As painful as it may be when your sons and daughters make up that legitimate target, the argument is still valid.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Just wanted to mention, Charles, that I looked at some "interesting" images you have on Photobucket. Reckon my attempt at understanding was a waste of time, really, wasn't it?

I'm off to start a private forum for bi+ching about people we don't like. Who wants to join?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Exactly Gupt, and acknowledging that does not mean liking it or being an apologist for it. I think it sucks, but it is the reality.

so just what do you think would make a young man drive a car of explosives into one of the world's premier battle tanks? do you deny that religion has anything to do with it? and do you really think that the excuse of "oh it's war" makes american lives less valuable?

Are military targets legitimate targets in a time of war?

And yes, religion may be part of his motivation. However, I think it is simplistic for Peter to frame this as the "Muslim terrorist". I know American military that are in part motivated by their Christianity; however, I would not frame some of the rare abuses by the US military as "the Christian soldier".

Yes, but the question is not who were they attacking-we know that already-but who was the attacker? That's what you're questioning right?
