Do I put expired I94 number on I765 Application?

I came here on H1B visa and it expired a year ago. I married a US citizen and am applying I485 together with I765. On Line 10 of I765, it asks for A-number or I-94 number(if any). I don't have an A-number, so should I put the I-94 number there even though my status has expired? or should I just put "None" there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

yes, you will put your I-94 number in this field - the A Number will be assigned to you with the AOS package since it applies to my knowledge towards immigrants only. You should see it later on when you receive your NOA1s :)

12/23/2010 - EAD Approved and Card on its way - Email notification received *yay*

01/04/2011 - Oh boy....Received Interview Letter today - February 3rd is the day! :)

02/03/2011 - Interview scheduled 12:45 p.m. - out of there before 1:30 p.m. - further review

Coming home, checking for touches at 5:30 p.m. - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED !!!!

02/09/2011 - Yup another e-mail saying that my card production was ordered.

02/10/2011 - E-mail notification "Approval letter was sent today"

02/14/2011 - Welcome Letter / Approval NOA and Card (separate envelope) received!!! :D

Late November 2012 (have to look up my receipts ;) - mailed in ROC I-751

12/12/2012 - NOA 1, status extension received

12/18/2012 - Biometrics appointment letter received

01/08/2013 - Biometrics done

Maxximus is absolutely correct. Even if the I-94 is expired, you put the number in that field. That's what my wife and I did (with an expired I-94W from the Visa Waiver Program), and we successfully adjusted status last month.

Yep. You must put the expired date. It won't negatively affect you. "None," however, would be a lie. There should be a separate spot for A-number and I-94 number. (For A-number you put none). Also, if you are applying to adjust status from a H1B, you also need to send a I-130. This will prove your relationship and create a visa number for you. Not sure if you left that out because you aren't sending it, or if it just didn't matter with your specific question, but either way thought I'd let you know. You will file a CONCURRENT I-130/I-485 application. Good luck.

Thank you all very much, that answers exactly my question. Yes, I'm going to file for I130/I485 concurrently, and certainly hope the visa journey to progress smoothly.
