Hawaii is indeed a US state, but VJers here have been advising on having AP or GC before leaving the continental US, so to speak. Technically, you should be able to travel to Hawaii without encountering any problems...

Hawaii is the 50th state it is a state, therfor all flights to and from are domestic, you are not leaving the United states when visiting the 50th state.

Nope No AP needed.
