Passport arrived

Had a nice surprise this morning - and a bit of a shock!

My passport was issued yesterday - and this morning the courier delivered the envelope and passport. Im pretty sure my waiver packet is in the brown envelope too (obviously I wont see it opened til POE) and Id forgotten how much work we'd put into that stage alone. The bag is so heavy!! Its going to make life interesting carrying that thing in my hand luggage!

At least its over now barring the flying. So from me - thanks to everybody that has given me advice - even over the years, I've been a member for around 5 years or so now. My knowledge of the immigration process is extensive - compared to those years ago when i just thought you could get on a plane and go live in a new country, no problem - I had a lot to learn!!

So for everybody who knows me and helped me, thank you again. As Ive said previously, my knowledge is still limited compared to some of the clever folk on here, but I intend to stick around and follow your progress as best i can, and help if I can. For those of you stuck at TSC - I shall be watching with interest and hopefully those approved will get to the NVC real soon!

Its an important day for me loto - it means I get to mess about with my signature again. thats kept me sane during this process!! lol.

Most likely will be this weekend. Ive been told Jersey is in for a pounding with snow. I was told I have a snow shovel wrapped up in christmas paper ready for me to open.....but hopefully the family will have shovelled it all by the time I return lol!

Its highly likely to be this weekend when I fly into newark. Still have to book my flight, and yet so much to do. I've got a couple of leaving get-togethers with friends in the local pubs. Ive already had two of them - and awoken with a hangover!
