According to California Service Center, it would take about 5 months on the average. Your wife should go ahead and start preparing form I-130. Mail the form and the required documents as soon as she becomes a citizen. Good luck.

Hello my wife is becoming an american citizen and she wants to bring her parents to live here around how long will this take thanks in advance

if you are on top of things and have everything ready... you can complete your case from i-130 filing to the interview date in about 6 months... ONLY if you have everything on hand and follow instructions in the guide found on this web.

4 cases i have worked on and they have all taken just under 6 months from start to end.

Please .. the information that all the previous 3 members provided you were incorrect. They advised you that it would take 5-6 months.. NOT realistic.

Realistically ... you can expect the process to take 8-10 months .. from Start to finish (day of interview). This has been stated many times prior.

Regarding my parent in law.

My sister in law now holding citizenship. For her parents 1) whats papers required to submit I-130.

2) There is mistake in true copy of Marriage Certificate mother's name is Nurzahan (z instead of j) but it is Nurjahan in passport. Will it problem or delay the process?

Well.. she need to submit for each parent

1. I-130

2. Naturalization Certt. / Proof of Citizenship.

3. Copy of the Petitioner's Birth Certificate - proof of relationship

4. Filing fee of $420

as far as the last name I would not worry about it.. it's off by one letter... lets hope they over look it. but i would not tarry over it.
