WOOHOO! Just got a "Post Decision Activity" email from the USCIS this afternoon!! Two and a half months earlier than expected!

I am SO busy with work and packing up my house in the next few months, I don't know how I'm going to squeeze the next round of paperwork in there too, but I'm so excited about being able to get married sooner than we planned!

Called my fiance, called my mom -- wanted you all to be the third to know.

Hope it happens to more of you soon!

Got Back from Flying to Montana. Arrived at customs in Denver and everything went smoothly. The guy tried to trick me by asking me when our wedding was but i just replied with "as soon as we get my k1 Visa approved".

Hello all,

We've been keeping a check on this thread but more from a distance really so that the wait doesn't seem too unbearable!!

However, it looks like Vermont could be kicking into action, so good luck to all who are in the same situation as we are.

Just out of interest, can anyone advise on the next set of timescales once they come through? Specifically, I'd be keen to learn how quick it will take for the London Embassy once they're in receipt of our application.

From time that you get your NOA2 until interview will be somewhere between 1 and 2 months! Not long at all! During that time thy send your application to another government office, then to the embassy. The embassy waits for you to send in your last set of paper work, then gives you an interview date. SO, as you can see, a lot gets done in a relatively short amount of time after you get your NOA2!

12/30/2011 - mailed I-129f to TSC

1/03/2011 - TSC recieved

1/06/2011 - Email notification: application sent to VSC

1/13/2011 - NOA1 hard copy received.

5/17/2011 - NOA2 Email Notification

5/20/2011 - NOA2 hard copy

5/25/2011 - NVC received

5/26/2011 - NVC sent to embassy in Barbados

Hmmm, medical in the morning - have to be up in 5 hours for it. I thought I had everything but I forgot to get a money order done. I even brought out the cash for it! Hopefully, since you pay last, they let me leave and run over to the bank real quick to get one made. Here's hoping.

Congrats on the NOA2!

The Medical went well. I arrived just after 6am and was 16th in line. They opened up the door at 6:30 and we began the tests at 7am. The bloodtest and xray is really quick and I was done that by 7:30am. The part that took a while was waiting to get your physical done. I ended up getting mine done at 10am. I'll be going back at 1:30 to receive the results of my bloodtest.

I will do my best to fax packet 3 in today but since I am requesting a later date, I will only be able to give a turnaround time versus what the current wait is.
