Well i'm not interested in charts. I'm just honestly asking a question that has plagued me for years. I used to just accept that fascism is an extreme form of right-wingism. But one day i questioned that. I asked myself "why is it that as you slide from the left to the right along the political scale you start with tons of government control and end up with limited government control and then without warning you suddenly hit fascism which is a system full of government control." I'm not going to apologize or excuse myself for thinking instead of going with the status quo.

Can someone post a political ideology chart that would be generally agreed upon by consensus? (which means Paul will reject it)

They offer political science classes at your local community college. It's good to ask questions, but even better to go to the best sources for the answers.

Great! Leave to the liberal community college professors to get it right.

It's all Progressive Newspeak. Things look a little different behind the curtain, eh?

Well I'm half done with a Master's degree in Accounting. I'm sure your alma mater has little to offer me.

Congratulations on your degree (to be). That however has nothing to do with politics. So you're snide comment to steven is lame. He merely suggested that you pose those questions to a local political science professor in YOUR area.

Good for you. It's too bad you didn't take enough political science or philosophy courses to answer your questions on the differences in political ideologies. I was fortunate enough to have professors from Brown and Yale, but really it's more about what you as a student want to get out of your education.

No actually he was being condescending, which I expected. I returned the favor. It's funny how asking a question that people can't answer pisses them off. Also, when I say things like, "I don't see how X leads to Y," or "I don't understand how X leads to Y" i'm not actually saying I don't understand. I'm just being diplomatic. I'm actually saying I think it's bullshit.

The political science professors at the community college I attended represented a wide array of political ideologies, but really, their opinions were not relevant to learning the course being taught.

Of course it was condescending because it's pretty stupid to ask such a rhetorical question about why political ideologies fall on a spectrum on a public forum like this one, particularly if the question has plagued for so long. That's the trouble with online arguments - people can say some of the stupidest sh!t and get easily offended when someone calls them on it.

Really? No absorption is required, nor is it recommended. All you have to do is regurgitate the professors' unbiased teachings at the appropriate time and place. However, at other times, some discussion may be encouraged. Remember, I went to one of the most liberal universities around, and I came away untainted. Community college is a joke.
