I saw a profile comment that I had the same question about. We should be getting a scheduled interveiw soon and I'm debating whether it is a good idea to go to the interveiw with him. (Our first interveiw was denied when I wasn't present) So maybe if they see us together it will be better or maybe I can explain things better than he can...but my only concern are those individual interrogations and cross-referencing notes. Just wanted some opinions.

P.S. I contacted the consulate already and they said I could accompany him to interview.

I guess the first question I have is...why was the K-3 denied? Was it specifically denied because they said you were not present at the interview?

Is always best to go, even in situations where petitioner is not allowed to attend like in China, even in this situation petitioner can give passport to beneficiary to carry into the interview to show that petitioner is there to support beneficiary.

Again if you can afford it, then GO!

I beleive they took a bit of advantage of him the first interview. I beleive if I was there with him and brought all of documents some of the reasons for denial could have be avoided.

And yes if it means our interview will go a bit more smoothly...by hook or crook I will find the funds to get there.

Recommend attending, if at all possible. Don't worry about the cross referencing as long as you tell the truth. The cross refenrecing got my wife and I together and you may be able to clarify things your spouse cannot articulate properly. Also, bring your passport showing visits, money transfers, etc.! Sure they will try and investigate thoroughly so be over prepared!
